Dorset Solid Oak Contemporary External Door

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS:

The Dorset Oak External Door is hand crafted by Heritage Doors & Floors LTD. The oak external door is made from using American White Oak.

This exterior oak door will have character but will not have any large open knots. The timber is selected so defects are not allowed while trying to keep the natural characteristics of Oak. The colour of the natural grade is a warm brown colour. The Grade will contain a few small thumb nail size knots while others will be virtually clear. There will not be any large open knots or dead knots in this grade, no cracks or splits either.

The oak used within these doors is specially kiln dried, meaning the moisture content is between 6-10%.

The doors are supplied unfinished so the end user can finish their new oak doors to how they like.

These doors are mortise and tenon constructed. The panels within the doors are 20mm thick solid oak, (flat panels) and the outer frame and other sections of the doors are used with Solid American White Oak.

Please Note - The glass is NOT supplied with the oak door

The sizes available are 2'0'' x 6'6'', 2'3'' x 6'6'', 2'6'' x 6'6'' & 2'9'' x 6'6'' - if you do require a non standard size, that is not a problem as Heritage manufacture the door in Sheffield, just give the team a call on 0114 247 4917
